Cost of having the entire back seat replaced?

Long story short, I went with my Dad today to get some paint from walmart. We drove my car. The lid wasn't sealed on the paint and it tipped over, causing half a gallon of paint to spill over. It went under the seat, rolled down under the carpet, and then all over the seat itself. Wamart said they would pay for the repairs, I'm just curious as to how much this is going to cost in the event that walmart says they'll only cover X amount of the repairs. If worse comes to worse I can use my insurance but I would like to stay away from using my insurance.

Looks like just the bottom part of the seat is around $1100 for OEM. (Walmart executives falling backwards off their chairs )

I can't imagine the carpet lining to be too expensive, but the labor to replace it will likely be the killer. I wouldn't be too surprised for the estimate to be upwards of $2,000 if you go to a dealership. Best of luck with getting everything replaced.

This might be a long shot, but if its latex-based paint, then you may be able to get the leather in the seats professionally treated to remove the paint.

Either way the carpet is going to have to be replaced, it rolled underneath and is on the floor boards. I don't know what BMW will say or what walmart will say, I have to get estimates of what its going to cost to get it fixed and make it right.
