530 xi ride height
Hi my name is hanns. I have a 530 xi wagon 2007 and I think it sets way to low in the back. is the airbag ride height adjustable in any way ? Or i was thinking to make an adjustable link that goes to the sensor to trick it?

There is an adjustment but before you go that route may sure the system hasn't failed. Usually the rear sits high. Either way there is a way to test the system. If you take off the rear wheel there is a black plastic link (2"-3" in height) attached to the axle and a small box. That is what measures the weight in the car in to allow the airbags to inflate or deflate.
To check this you will need to have the car on the ground, so I would recommend taking it to a shop that has a way for you to walk under the car> this will allow you to manually move the sensor to verify the airbag system is still working. It is hard to explain on here, let me know if you can't figure it out.
