I just checked too and there is no USB. instead there is a small square hole where others have described the USB being. must be an iDrive connection port? i know you can upgrade the firmware on the iDrive.

Special thanks to KP49 who posted that usb stick. They're called Sandisk Cruzer Fit, the FIT part is critical for the size.

10 minutes I checked slickdeals right before I went to bed and they have them on a killer sale. $17 for the 32GB version, I bought 2.

They are pretty cool, but easy to lose so best to use them where they stay plugged in.

I hate the usual size USB stick hanging out, plus in a console or glove compartment no chance of them getting broken off. For what they cost I dont even bother with iPods/iPhone music in the car.
