Service Manual

Hi All. I am a new member of the forum. I'm having some major issues with my 2002 X5. The X5 completely shuts off as I am cornering or stopped at a light. My father-in-law is a DIY mechanic and is working on the vehicle, but we cannot track down a copy of a repair/service manual. I've been to local autoparts stores with no luck. I was told that I should try a forum to point me in the right direction. I've spent some time looking on the site for a manual, but to no avail. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!

You're welcome. And welcome to the 'Fest. Post specifics of your problem, maybe some of us can point you in the right direction.

You probably know this, but it's like flying blind trying to diagnose issues like this without a good code reader (Peake, etc). Good luck and happy wrenching.
