DVD in Motion
Hi. I just went through the upgrades and wanted to know if the DVD in Motion upgrade will negate liability coverage insurance should i get into a situation. Example - god forbid I have an accident causing bodily harm to someone, will having this upgrade cause any issues with insurance if they find it AND will this in some way (regardless of accident) void my insurance coverage. Thanks.

I can't see how this would cause a claim to be denied, unless there is language in your policy declarations stating such. Only way I can see any liability issues is if someone could prove (witnessed) you were watching a video at the time of an accident. I've been an insurance agent in Texas for about 9 years, and never had this come up. However, there's a first time for everything.
At least BMW allows you to access the Nav while moving. GM locks out almost all functions while driving. |
