Ac/ heater Blower motor resistor on a 1992 325i
I have 1997 328is and this has happened to me 4 times now. I guess its a common problem however I'm over it. Sure can't get any answers as to why it happens but every 6 to 8 months I have to fix. I found this link useful... http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=143393
...But I sure would like to know how I could solve this problem. |

Usually on E36s with analog/standard (non-digital) climate control, the most prevalent symptom of a failed blower motor resistor is the fan blowing at full speed regardless of what you have the dial turned to.
Also, that link provided above does not apply to the OP, since he has a '92 with analog/standard climate control, and the DIY link is for replacing the final stage unit with digital climate control.
