2002 M3 seems to pull when shifting

My 2002 M3 SMG seems to want to pull or get "squirrely" when I shift a little agressively.

any ideas what may cause this?

PS-it smoothes out a little if I have DSC on and SPORT off.

Probably breaking the rear tires loose.

Agreed.

How's the car feel when you roll into the power instead of hammering on it? Smooth and straight?

+1, seems u'r revving and shifting quickly with the DSC off, which is causing the rear to slip, hence the pull feel.

Experimented a little today.

shifted with DSC ON and it wasn't quite as profound.

I feels like I'm getting a lot of traction from the drive wheel (right rear) which is making the car sway a little when shifting.

I'm only taking it to about 5k rpm, then shifting.

Check your rear trailing arm bushings.

Is this something I could do myself?

Any idea what it would cost to have repaired?

I don't know if you can do it yourself. I don't know your skill and equipment.

No idea what it would cost to fix.
