Trunk cannot be opened by key

hello,

cannot open my trunk with the master key. key cannot be turned left or right. I am worried if trunk actuator dies or battery is dead i will not be able to open trunk. any experience working on this is a big help. Do i remove the key cylinder and have locksmith fix it?
