My 2002 325i wont start
My 2002 325I tries to turn over but it wont start. I've eliminated the pump, and the fuse as possible problems. The battery I think is fine as everything works.
Any suggestions?

Sounds like a bad battery. Classic. We see tons of `em roll through here every week....Walmart & Autozone have suitable replacements for around $100.

Not the battery. Put a new battery in from my friends 325I, my car still wont start. It tries to turn, but it wont start

No noise prior. A mechanic I called just now says it the crank sensor. So i'm gonna try to eliminate that as a possible problem, then ill get to the starter.

Wouldn't surprise me if that is the issue. Do you have a BMW scanner? I suggest you get it. it is just about 40 bucks on ebay and will be the best money you will spend. It would tell you if any codes are pending, including that for the crank sensor. Good luck with that and keep us posted.

It is called BMW Scanner 1.4 by PASoft. Just search on ebay. You can get it from a Chinese seller but it will take you a month to get. You can also specify shipping from the US seller, but it will be more expensive. If you intend to program your car, I would also recommend INPA or GT1 (search on Ebay too). These will pay for themselves in one use.

by taking out the backseat, making sure it was being powered.
