Ses light 2002 m5
Recently my SES light came on. I have a code reader myself, and it read the problem as "Powertrain".. Is there a more specific answer i may find before going to a mechanic? thank you.

Which code reader are you using? It sounds like you have a generic reader and need a BMW specific reader such as a Peake unit.

Do you have the numerical code?? Hexadecimal or other?
The peake unit will resolve the BMW specific codes, but asometimes you can look up the raw code elsewhere.... But "buy a peake" is our standard advice...
