Oil leak
I believe I have an oil leak on my 95 325i and I think its coming from underneath the oil filter housing not from the actual housing but from whatever is directly underneath it which is a mystery to me what that is so any help would be awesome what is directly underneath the housing? And any other help of any kind

What makes you think it isn't coming from the OFH? If it isn't that, I'd check the oil pan gasket.

Its not coming from the canister itself but underneath the canister which still could be part of the ofh

That's what I'm saying. It's most likely leaking from where the OFH mates with the engine block.

Yea, I'm fairly certain that Ze is correct and the leak is coming from the OFH. Common leak site.
