help

i am having the problem with my 95 325i. its making this weird noise when it accelerates and i dont know what it could be. the noise comes from like under the car. i first thought it might be the muffler cause it was too loose but now im thinking it cant be if anyone knows what it could be tell me thanks

I agree. More specifics will help. Have you taken a look under the car?

I had a strange noise that made me think the transmission was going bad. I got up under there with a flashlight and found that the sound deadening material covering the transmission tunnel had deteriorated and some had fallen and was rubbing the flex disc. I cut it loose with my pocket knife and the noise was gone.

It sounds like it could be something like in the muffler but it only does the sound when its on first gear... I checked to see if the muffler was loose but its not

Wondering the same thing myself. Practically every thread he's replied to is two month+ old and long ago settled. We appreciate the input, but if it's 2 months since the last posting, you're pretty much wasting your time replying to it.
