Finally got my car, 328i EB2 , sport auto, lighting , PDC

finally got my car today. new century BMW in LA actually had one on the lot. I got to meet Justin, who probably made this the best car buying experience of my life.

Everything was super easy, I just signed things and got an amazing, seriously amazing price. Got the car I initially had ordered for less than it was going to cost, he even picked me up at a carmax 15 miles away, where I sold my Audi in probably 30 min of traffic!

Everyone buy cars from justin the guy deserves it.

The car is awesome, its way way way more neutral handling than my 2010 A4 sport quattro I just got rid of. I don't get people whining about the steering, I think it is plenty communicative. It was raining in LA today, so it was ugly and terrible and dark outside so I didn't really take any pics (only have a camera phone).

But here is one pic I did take when I got home.

Absolutely beautiful color. Seriously gorgeous.

I do have to say the cup holders can't hold like a super big gulp and there's no where to put stuff like your cellphone / work garage door keys etc. where have you guys been putting these things?

Other than that its better than my last car in every way. EVERY SINGLE WAY.

can't wait until it stops raining to really see what it can do

Thank you for your business Hans! it was a pleasure assisting you; especially "de-horsing" you out of an Audi into a Bimmer...welcome to the dark side

Sorry you had to wait in the CMax lot; the 210 was like a parking lot last night

Enjoy your ride

Congrats. Gorgeous car. As Justin said, welcome to the dark side.

Curious, did you really get enough more from CarMax to offset the tax advantage of trading in? Especially given that you had a high value 2010.

You can remove the ashtray and you'll have a bin there. Given you're DRIVING do you think maybe a regular Big Gulp might be big enough? Maybe even a bottle of water.

there are no tax breaks in CA...you are taxed on the sell price of the car... not sell price minus trade ...hence why I said better to sell to CMax than to me...whats an extra hr of time to gain an addtional 2K

Wow! Cali is really bending its folks over these days. Must be great for CarMax. Not so good for y'all. Have you seen your trade in volume take a hit? Good thing BMW has such a robust lease/CPO business.

the tax thing doesnt work like that in California. you always pay for the full amount of tax on the purchase price, so it doesnt matter here.

Yeah thanks again for that, that really was the extra mile. had to be like 15 miles away in traffic.

my parents laughed at me when i bought an audi (they are bmw loyal) and said it would break down . it broke several times. the dark side is a good place to be.

to be honest with you...if CMax is willing to step up for a car from my cust and my dealer can't ...i will be more than happy to provide a free ride back from CMax...since there is one only 15 mins away from me it's no big deal

...here is the hard truth about this business...dealer sells 300 cars and i sell 5 ...I will be replaced...dealer sells 100 cars and i sell 30...im good for another month ...i don't get into what the dealer does...I only worry about what I do
