Looking at a 1986 325e Coupe

Hey, I'm looking at a 86 325e that's for sale near me.
Here's some specs:
- 134K miles
- 5 speed manual
- 2 owners
- Tokiko Shocks and Eibach Springs
- 15 inch Kosei wheels
- Used OEM Cloth Sport Seats (Sale will include vinyl comfort seats shown in photos too.)
- M-Tech Gear Shift Knob
- M-Tech steering wheel
- Rear Deck iS Spoiler
- Class I Trailer Hitch
- 10 Disc CD Changer
and the owner is asking for 5400$
He or she states that there are some minor dings on the body, but that's to be expected.
It's never been in an accident (still have to check the carfax)
and "a clutch will be needed sooner rather than later" So i'm assuming that the clutch isn't in good condition, which might be a good negotiating point.
My question for you guys is: Is it worth the price posted?
What price do you think I can fairly get them down to?
What should I be prepared for owning a late 80's e30.

$5400 is WAY too much for an early model 325e.

post pictures. without pictures, i'd call it AT MOST a $2.5-3k car .

why isnt it worth much ?

- respray
- early model
- ETA
- base model
- cheap ebay suspension
- cheap wheels
- 4 owner

it has nothing of value to a real enthusiast or someone looking for a high quality e30. i'd hold my ground at 2.5k to 3k MAX. and you should only consider even paying that much if you REALLY want it.
