6 Series
The BMW 6 Series builds on BMW's sporty heritage with aggressive lines and an incredible motor to back the design up. Available in coupe and convertible trims with a standard 4.8 liter engine producing 360 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque, the 6-series is a popular choice that exceeds expectations. |

New Strut Help
Hello Forum! I was wondering if anyone new where to buy some good aftermarket struts besides the dealership? Do you need to go with oem or are there any other options out there?

Bilstein Sport and HD struts are a major improvement over stock. The only thing better is to go for a Bilstein PSS9 or KW V3 coilover system - $2,500.
Looks like you are lowered so I would go for the sports. Bilstien descriptions: Heavy Duty (HD) - $134 x 4 at Turner Motorsports HD shocks are for cars with the standard, factory suspension. They are typically about 20% firmer than the original shock, improving body roll, brake dive, and overall handling. Sport - $239 x 4 at Turner Motorsports Sport shocks are for cars lowered from the factory ride height and are about 20% stiffer than the factory shocks. Sport shocks work great with lowering springs such as H&R or Eibach OEM struts are $250 each for the rear and $350 each for the fronts. You should go to an indie to install since they will charge about 1/4 what the dealer will for this.

My car is actually still stock....not lowered at all so it looks like I should buy the HD shocks right? Do I need to buy all 4? Or can I just buy the front 2 since that is where my strut is bad? Thanks so much you guys for the info. The local dealer wants $470 x2 per Oem strut....plus install. Crazy!

I am so glad you made this thread. I have been looking for new Struts but for some reason I couldn't find them anywhere.
Thanks
