1995 740iL - Few Questions

New to the forum...

Hey E38 owners, I currently own a BMW 1995 740iL. I have done the following mods: Updated tail lights, clear corner and side lights. I am looking to do more mods, such as a chrome grill, the chrome trunk lid, a back antenna. I am also looking for suggestions to do to the 740 that will make it look sweet. It just got a brand new paint job, so the ride looks hot. Any suggestions would be great.

Also can any of you recommend a place that I can purchase these items?

I am also wondering if any of you owners have a problem playing burned CD's. Everyone cd works fine in my CD player except for CD-R's.

One of the best mods you can do to an E38 is to buy a set of 18'' M-Parallels (the wheels that came on later E38 sport models). It'll make a night and day difference.

Hmm...CD-R's usually work, maybe it's time for a new changer? Other than that, I would second the M-Parallels advice.

We used to have a '95 740iL. What specs do you have, and where in Tampa are you from?

I agree. Those wheels are sweet.

I think Crevier BMW had those parts for:

51-13-8-231-595 CHROME 750 GRILLE $33 (one side)
51-13-8-231-596 CHROME 750 GRILLE $33 (the other)
51-13-8-171-680 CHROME TRUNK STRIP $29

Is it possible to replace the small water pipe without removing the engine intake?

Mane mane - new thread please. Mikedt4564 have you tried running a cleaning disc through. That worked for me.
