if you havent been driving around on the flat, pump it up and get it patched. if you have been driving around on it flat, best place to get a replacement is tire rack.

The exact same tire that is on the other three wheels. It is never a good idea to mismatch tires.

this.

always match all four tires. mixing is a recipe for unstable handling, especially in emergency situations

look at the sidewall of the tires on the car. bmw uses many different suppliers, so the only way to know for certain is to read the sidewall

Tire Rack BMW F30 Luxury OEM Tires

Try that link (hopefully it works) Chances are you have the Goodyear EfficientGrip (oxymoronic name, huh?) or the Pirelli Cinturato P7... I've yet to see a F30 with Continentals, but I'm not that up to date.

Well, at least they're cheaper than the others. At $146, can't ever see the need for tire insurance.

I lost a tire to a nail at 1000 miles. I bit the bullet and went to dealer, it was 350+50 labor for a new tire.

Good news is you won't have to replace both set of tires due to the rolling resistance that a worn tire may have on gas consumption.

Not necessarily. I would first check with a local Discount Tire store and even Costco (Costco includes a free 5-year Road Hazard Warranty) if these stores are in your area, or other local tire stores.

I was, and still am, a huge fan of Tire Rack, but the four sets of tires that I've bought in the last two years have all been purchased at Discount Tire or Costco. Once I figured in the cost of shipping and having the tires mounted at a recommended tire installer, in each case Discount Tire or Costco was either cheaper or within a few dollars of Tire Rack's prices.

It is always a good idea to shop around for the best price rather than rely on a blanket statement like this.

I recommend you check your local store. Last set of tires I bought were from a local shop that was part of Tire Rack's installer network. After pricing out the tires on Tire Rack I called the shop just to make sure they could confirm the installation charges. They gave me a better quote (OTD) than the Tire Rack deal.

I have a 2013 335XDRIVE MSPORT 18" all season Conti with 400+ miles on it.
Went to the local Discount Tires, and bought their warranty for $194 which covers free new replacement for all four tires, free TMPS, free balancing, free rotation up to 40,000 miles. The warranty is good at any of their locations nationwide.

The cost of each new tire is approx $350 to replace.

I'm at about 12,000 miles, got a slow leak in one of my tires (alerted to it by the car's TPMS). Following the usual excellent advice from the forum I went to Discount Tire who repaired it for free. You can bet I will always buy tires from them now. Also, I told them my quote from Tire Rack for winter wheels/tires they are going to match it.

So my advice to OP - head to Discount Tire it may cost you nothing for fix.

If your car is less than 12 months old and you have used less than 2/32" of tread, replacement is free and includes mounting and balancing. If you've used more than 2/32" but the tires are less than 12 months old, the price is pro-rated.

This happened to me last Saturday (a metal shard instead of a nail). Took it to the dealer, who gave me a loaner during the four days it took to get a replacement tire shipped. Cost? Zero.

BTW, nobody will repair a RFT, even though the manufacturers say they are repairable.

It's one thing that the service people don't know about the road hazard warranty (my dealer didn't). It's another thing that YOU don't know about it. Have you popped the shrink wrap on the CD you were given at delivery and looked at the PDF for the brand of tires on your car? They all come with a 12 month road hazard warranty.

I have Contis and they specifically do not come with a Road Hazard warranty from BMW, not sure about other brands. Discount Tire will repair RFTs for free if the puncture is in the tread, not if it's in the sidewall.
