light inside inner angel eye

I have a question about the light within the inner angel eye. It appears that it is a faint light that comes on briefly when the turn signal is on and then it goes off. What is the point of this light? Is that how it is supposed to work? the owner's manual does not describe the function of this light. Thanks.

That's the active illumination brah. Lights up the curve ahead of you in the direction you're turning. I've found it really useful on canyon roads

It works very well when making a U Turn or a very tight corner, wish it was an HID than a regular old Halogen, but oh well!

It illuminates the corners in low speed turns. It is basically a cornering light, like when you turn into a street or a driveway.
