I would really like a dinan one if I can find a used one around 200, if not then i'm going with cosmos racing....they are about 180 shipped

I may make my own silicone intake elbow though...I don't want to spend 90 bucks on one when I can buy the elbow without the holes for 20 bucks

Ok, did some cosmetic stuff today so I thought I would update this thread a little. Obviously things have changed a little since I last updated, but here goes:

I painted the calipers flat black, and plasti-diped the frame rails to clean up the wheels wells a little:

Then conditioned the leather with gliptone (love this stuff btw):

Then I glued the nice little weather strip back to the corner light:

Much better:

I'm not sure what to do about this, I might start to look for a facelift nose panel to replace it with since there is a small dent in between the kidneys:

Anyone have a facelift nose that they would like to sell?

Ok a little update to this ancient thread, I finally had some time to work on my car since my son was born

Today I started by cleaning and rain-x ing my new windshield:

Before

And with the Rain-X

Then I picked up a new sticker for my ///M logo on the trunk and in the cluster:

During:

And after:

I think they match these OEM colors pretty well:

I picked them up from these guys for a total of like 16 dollars..... much better than the 43 dollars for a new OEM ///M logo....

Every time I see your Boston Green cars I get super jelly. The BG paint on Bebe has gone to hell in a handbag. She used to look like yours.

What did the windshield cost you? I had one put in Elvira a few months ago and it was $240 and change installed, and they came to me to do it. Now Bebe needs one...a nice crack started at the base of the passenger's side and is slowly running up and across. Crap.

Edit: how did you get your IC illumination so even? No dark spots! Did you do the "sand the back of the cluster" trick. Looks good man!

I thought windshield replacement in florida was free per year via insurance.

I drove down to Messina NY, and paid about the same you did Ken. Was glad to do so, since the cheapest I found in the Great White North was more than double that price.

I think the windshield was about 150 installed with tax and they came out and did it. Safelite was 240 plus travel and tax.... I think I paid about 175 a year ago from a different outfit the last time I replaced the windshield. This is the third one in the time I have owned the car

I did do the sand the back cover trick from over on the ///m3 forum. I followed the instructions exactly.....I'm happy with how it turned out.

In the next few months I'm going to do a pretty intense paint correction/seal and wax on my car with a full write-up, then you will see the wonders that a camera will hide My guess is my paint is much worse than you think

I didn't know you could just get the sticker. I bought a new emblem. Was only like $15 on ebay but turns out its the e46 M badge so it's not the exactly the same, but better than the faded crooked one I had for so long.

Yeah if I were to replace the whole emblem I would go OEM .... I hate messed up emblems, it makes the car look like a fake. The sticker guys are new, just a few month I think....

I want to just take it off but I didn't wait this long to get an M3 just to take it off.

It looks so much cleaner and symetrical without it.
