The DVN-E60 is currently designed to replace the original 6.6inch small screen only
Dynavin have just released the new DVN-E60. This model is designed to replace the original screen of the car and will fit the BMW E60 < 2009 and the BMW E90 with IDRIVE <2009. The DVN-E60 will allow activation of the factory fitted AUX feature of the original head unit where previously it was not active

The DVN-E60 features:

1, Navigation + touchscreen control

3, iPod audio/video integration (video not possible on iPhone 5), fully controlled by original Idrive controls and steering wheel controls

If you have Logic 7...installation will be a little different. Full specs can be find at link below

Where are the climate settings ?

Love it, can't afford it.

Does this allow ipod use in cars w/out the connections, does it require a dealer activation? I am looking into the dice ipod connection but have had no luck finding a dealer to activate it. Thanks in advance

yes as far as my understanding this is an add on feature...pretty much your swapping out what BMW is feeding all the info into ...a new screen.

Only difference is the new screen from Dynavin will have added features such as navigation and SD card slot

You can stream phone or audio device via blue-tooth

This unit will NOT require dealer activation. Navigation software is stored onto SD card
