Magnetic license holder

Quick question....

I don't have the front frame drilled in (thank god)....

Has anyone used or looked into the magnetic license plate holders? More specifically is there even enough metal in that bumper location to hold something like that in place?

No, not enough metal. It's buried under a lot of plastic.

3M double side tape!

3m tape would be the best, reversible way to mount the plate.

In my 911s I have always used a holder that screws into the tow hook. I would wager the same would work for the 5 series.

I'm in the same boat with no holes drilled in the front. I left the temp sticker from the dealer in the front windshield hoping this will draw attention away from the lack of a front plate. I'm not sure about the law in IL, but here in CA, the feedback I got from fellow members here is that you can pay the higher fine from the fix it ticket and not correct it. We'll see.

Rho plate. Google it. I have it on my car, it doesn't interfere with pdc. I love it.
