Now that's just being a 'baller'. 1 level above having plain old 'Status'.

Another one of the E9X regulars is getting ready to leave you, has been spotted in the F30 forum.

That is all.

Anyone that is leasing and many that bought will eventually be replacing their cars and the F30 would be a logical choice even to those who preferred some aspects of the E9x. The fact that they are choosing a car that they can buy over a car that they can't buy doesn't really make much of a statement. In any case I would guess that the vast majority of those who trade their E9x for an F3(4)x will be satisfied with their choice.

I have zero interest in an F30 as I have no need for a small sedan but may look at the F31 and F32 when they are released.

Your signature pictures make me want to head over to the BMW website to price one out. Very sharp looking car, even without he sports package.

But, alas, I still love the E90 and will continue to plan on a 8-10 year life-cycle with it and then perhaps replace with an F30 LCI if the time frame fits.

So far, the loaner F30s have made me nothing but happy to be back in my E90, though none looked as nice as yours.

There have been a lot of battery related threads popping up recently.

Downright sexy pic. I'm leaning to Blue or Red next time around. I'm tired of 'safe' colors.

I replaced the battery in my 2006 325xi earlier this year. Fun. On Black Friday, there was a perfect upgrade at the dealer - a CPO 2009 328xi, with more options AND had sport and stick. So I bought it. Battery died the next day!

Apparently being in service for four years and then being powered by battery for several days for cleaning, set up, etc, wasn't really good for it. My dealer was amazing and replaced it right away. Now I'm set for (at least) another four years!

I keep looking for the wrong color red in the parking lot, though. Went from Japanrot to Barberarot. So weird.

Thanks so much, the F30 is a really great car, love it very much.

For me, I had to have the Saddle interior so Luxury line it was. I don't mind the chrome and the bling much at all, really love the wheels too. After 6 years in a stripped Beige E93 and a too firm E90 M-Sport, it's nice to change it up a bit.

That's really cool how you can lean your GPS up on the dashboard like that! Good spot for it.

Thanks. Just a little Velcro on the bottom edge and I'm all set. It conveniently doubles as a cupholder cover, so thieves never even know its there.

But when it's in position, ah, that's the ticket. Not as bulky as the older shroud design, the display is higher in your line of sight but takes up no more space.

One of these days I'm going to put in larger wheels, a head-up display, a foot-opening trunk, and a 4 cylinder engine that bumps HP and torque, but those are projects for another day.

BJ

Lol! I would prefer myself the screen be optional. I don't intend to buy a car with integrated NAV until I'm forced to when it becomes standard. The screen is nothing but a distraction in the car.

It's actually quite the opposite.

The screen does practically everything now. It's your radio, it's your iPod, it's your phone, it's your experience modes, it's your owners manual, it's your text messages. Unilke the E90 where these things were all handled by taking your eye off the road, looking way down the center stack, finding some tiny display, hitting some tiny buttons, you now glance slightly to the screen and find exactly what you're looking for.

The only thing that doesn't use the LCD for control settings is climate control. Eventually, that'll be there too. And if you have the head-up display, even more user controls are visible projected over the hood.

I wouldn't bet on that one. The first generation of iDrive eliminated primary climate controls from the E65 7 Series (ca. 2002). That decision was almost universally panned. No one wanted to scroll and click through multiple menus just to change the temperature or fan speed. BMW restored the dedicated HVAC controls ASAP.

You'll be one fuse away from BMW Roadside Assistance. Oh wait, that isn't going to be working either.
You know how when you come up to NH to revisit the good old days you have your choice of two bridges, right? Well all the control circuits in your car will have one 'bridge'. How reassuring is that?

All I know is one year from today you will be driving this brand-new 435i and you won't be caring a thing about bridges.

That's a nice butt! I like the look but I prefer 4 doors vs coupes.

BTW, I won't be happy until BMW comes out with a vehicle that uses one of these:
