Automatic folding mirror question
So I've had my 330i for a couple weeks and seem to find something new every other day (first BMW). This morning I discovered the folding mirror button on accident while getting out of the car. Didn't realize I hit it and thought someone at work had folded my mirrors in. Long story short I tried to put them back and realized they were locked in place. Found the button and now the driver side mirror goes past the locking point. I don't see where it may be broke however fear it may be. Is there something I'm missing?

They're not actually locked in place. They can still be moved manually. Move it to the correct position and hit the button a couple of times. It will probably reset to the correct position.

A good service advisor/salesperson should have gone over every item on the car with you at delivery.

There are a couple of older threads dedicated to the little things people learned about their cars over time. I did a quick search but the results didn't yield much for e9x info. Poor search criteria, no doubt, but give it a shot. Lots of cool features in these cars...

I purchased the car used from a generic dealer not a BMW dealer. The salesman was nice, but not overly smart when it came to what he was talking about. I did have a pre-purchase inspection done from a trusted mechanic and was told I was getting a good deal so purchased. Glad I did too! Also having fun running back and forth from my living room to the driveway with the owners manual.
