Z3 1.9 Shopping Frustrations

Does anyone know of a good place to look for 1.9 Z3 parts?
It seems that most sites center on the i6s and 'M's. No place I have been to yet has a good selection of engine upgrades, parts, expertise etc. for the 4 cyl.

I realize that the M44 motor is not so well liked compared to the 6s. But surely some company or site offers good addons and such.

Any direction is as always appreciated!

Edit: Where have all the 4 cylinder lovers gone? lol

Aside from expertise, know anything about folks who sell parts?

I mean, I can find parts but they can be a bit hard to pick out amongst the slue of i6 parts.

I don't know of any M44 specialists company. Searching around 318ti.org might turn up something. But I doubt it. The M44 is just not that big of a market. Also, the market potential for M44 upgrades has always been limited by the existence of the 6 cyl cars. Cheaper and easier to trade for a 6 cyl car as opposed to bringing a M44 up to the same performance level.

IMHO, the best mod for your car would be a suspension upgrade. A simple shock upgrade, or if the budget allows, TC Kline's SA coilovers, will transform the car's handling.
