Totally different plug.
Black is 02, white is lm2.

At the top you can see the difference in the plug, they are different.

Looking at the picture closer , the upper area
Your talking about seems to have a reflection
That makes it look different .

I am on my phone , so I'll have to take a

The plug is the same size, the upper plastic slots are at different spacing. I could not get my plug to seat into the white one, I had to buy another to get my blinker, and back brake light to work.

Paper bro i never said u stated that ask can be reprogram to play mp3 it was another person. Pretty sure u know who that was. So if i go to dealer will they update my lights and program everything ? So1 needs to do a write up on this one

Cccp, the white plug housing comes off with two hex screws and looks like it could be swapped. A pin needs to be moved via TIS.

Personally the LCM controls all of the car and I am not willing to fry my modules to swap it out.

YES i KNOW WHO MADE THAT STATEMENT ABOUT THE MP3 & I'M SURE EVERY 1

Alright cool, ill ask them next time car goes for service. But hey i bet they will say no. Thats what the usually say when it comes to coding and such

I finally got the energy and the time to tackle my "angle eyes" on my 06 750Li.

Pulled the bumper... Glad I did, becuase there would have been no way I would have been able to pull that silly bulb out on the bottom of the headlight housing, not with my hands anyways. What a silly place to have access to a light bulb. Awesome German engineering. ha ha...

The whole job took about 2 hours...
Taking the bumper off is not that hard... Taking the headlights out once the bumper was off took me longer ..
I had a hell of a time figuring how the heck the electrical plugs came off the lamp housing. Hint, the big plug slides sideways in an upward direction first, then straight out.
Once I figured out the left side, the right was a piece of cake.

I just pulled the bulbs for the DRL... I get the highbeam error for both sides at startup, but then it goes away. Highbeams still work fine on the HID's
