2013 335is convertible pricing info
I'm about to start talking to dealers about this car for purchase or lease. I may also want to do ED.
I'm having a hard time locating invoice info for for US delivery or ED delivery. Can someone direct me where to get it or send it to me? Or is there a way to calculate from MSRP? Thanks, Dave |

Hi, I just placed my order for 2013 335is convertible today. I spent last week negotiating with several local dealers and a few not so local dealers. I am doing PCD, so I was not real concerned about buying from local dealers. As it turned out, I got the best deal from a dealer 90 miles south of Atlanta (Macon). Total of all discounts was $6500 (including 1500 holiday credit). Local Atlanta dealers could not touch the deal in Macon, one was close, most were way higher. Good luck!

Just curious; Did this include board sponsor Adrian at BMW South Atlanta? i.e. did the Macon dealer beat his pricing?

FWIW, back when I bought my 2010 E93 (fall 2009), Athens BWM, and both United (where I bought it) and Global had better pricing than Adrian was able to get me.

I bought two new BMW from that dealership on Church St. until Adrian took over the EDs. He'll jerk you around bait and switching finishing with a rude email when you don't buy. Jim Tompkins at Roswell BMW is the best guy in town to work with and he knows the Euro Delivery process inside-out.

Well MP3, if anything like some of us, we jerk back. When a vendor lies, do the bait & wait....appear genuinely interested and open a number of requests with him. Ask him to look up this, or could he do that, things that can't be done right away and take some effort on his part. Naturally, and the end of your fishing line is a delicious sale, profitable and just about to happen! Notch up the enthusiasm bit by bit....almost there! In the end, you pull the drain plug from the tub. "Darn! I really wanted to do business with you, but another salesman beat your price!" He'll want to know all about that....in the telling, let slip that the "other salesman" routed certain info your way....maybe in contradiction to what he was telling you....and was consistent and attentive....he answered your questions completely and right away. Oh, the humanity! At the very end, express the things that irritated your most about the guy as things you really appreciated - be sure to mention them specifically. In parting, you want to express your personal feeling of friendship with the guy, but your business goes elsewhere. There. Better now?

He lost four new cars sales to me alone and loads more via referrals. I am considering the new Wagon and the sale won't go there either. Rudeness is not appreciated. Six new BMWs is a pile of cash over the years. Guess I was not buying a new Ferrari or Bentley so what should we expect?

BMW of Macon: MSRP of $69,867, sale price of $63,401 plus tax, tag, $499 doc fee. This is not an in stock unit, but rather an ordered car for PCD. United BMW: 3k more Nalley BMW: $600 more (not a bad deal at all!) Century BMW: unable to match Macon price Tom Williams BMW: unable to come close! I should also mention that I am not a current BMW owner, nor is anyone in my family a current BMW owner. Last edited by brly335is; 12-04-2012 at 09:20 AM. |

Sounds like a good deal. I've never paid a 'doc fee' though. $500 is insane for just paperwork but assuming the overall deal is good then that's ok. All dealers can do the same price unless it's near the end of the month they are a few extra units for making a bonus etc. Part of the sales process is to 'size-up' the customer and see what they will pay.

I forgot this a non-ED car. Dealers have allocations. North Metro area dealers probably have enough 'bozo buyers' to sell their allocation of -verts at near MSRP. I doubt Macon sells many $70K cars.

I even told United (Roswell) that I would prefer to give them the business because I plan to service the car there, apparently that didn't matter to them. |

These days you get a free loaner even if the car was not bought from them. Their service dept is generally really busy so if you prefer a BMW loaner be sure to ask and prepare to wait for the appointment.

For pricing, I went to everyone and got the lowest "out-the-door" price (United was not lowest), and then went back again for round 2 and told United I would order the car that day if they matched the lowest price - which they did (they actually did better than that in the end). I originally went with United Roswell as I was working near there at the time. E46 - who is your SA @ United Roswell? I have not been overly impressed with any of them thus far, and need to pick a "regular" SA.
