E30 (1982 - 1993)
God's Chariot. The E30 was produced primarily from 1982 through 1991. The cabriolet was the one exception which was produced through 1993. |

Do you mean wires from the car or wires from the radio?

I made a new ground when I did mine because the old ground was crap. You'll need a meter. There is a nice chunk of metal under the dme in the glove box that worked for me.

I got mine online for about $12, shipping was only a couple of bucks more. I don't remember where, but I was glad to find it.

I pin em out with a meter...too many variants to rely on a color. Just how I do it I guess.

My radio guru shop will test them all out and mark them all for a decent coffee.

STOP
dont EVER trust the colours. all that will do it blow up your new stereo and/or cause a dash fire. BMWs, especially E30s, are temperemental with their electronic systems at the best of times, without adding other complications ALWAYs use a multimeter to determine the wires. all of these wires are easy to locate using just a multimeter and some electronics knowledge.

I was talking about testing the unit not the car. The car is easy.
