Spoiler Or No Spoiler

Mine was delivered 7 days after ordering. Not bad coming from Taiwan, they use FedEx. The color was spot on and the fit was great. The jury is still out, but I believe I'll keep it on. I'd post a photo, but there are a ton out there.

For $69 delivered it is a great deal.

I only worry about cracked paint on the painted spoiler. Warranty is three years, and I intend to keep the car for a while. I may go with the carbon fiber spoiler for this reason. Nice look though.

On my F10 I have the JBSpeed lip which was around $185, if this one is the same quality it's a slam dunk. I will also chime in and say that a lot of E46 owners have used these aftermarket lips for years with no problems with paint quality. I have one on my E46 that has been on since 2008 and the paint looks great still with no chipping.

Thinking about getting one of these...Easy to remove at lease turn in? I would think some heat gun on low would do the job?

What's everyone's opinion on the roof spoiler?

The paint quality looks great and I don't think it will be an issue.

Should not be an issue. Like debadging a car. It would take a little effort and some clean up.

Not a fan. But, there are a lot of owners that like them and have installed them. Alex's F10 has one and I am petty much on par with his mods except that one.

I personally don't like the look of the roof spoiler. Ruins the lines, IMO.

I agree. The trunk spoiler I could do with or without. But the roof spoiler is a definite no for me.

Perhaps this could help..
Just took delivery of a 6 coupe 1 week ago. Before the car came, I did order the M6 rear lip spoiler from the dealer, had it painted outside the dealership with BMW color code of my car; and then had the dealership install it before I drove the car out of the lot. When talking about rear spoliers, subtle is better, the M spoilers for the BMW's are a nice accent that add to the lines; not a loud punk like screaming statment that diminshes the lines (not that there is anything wrong with that, if that s your taste..). So, if you are going to do it, stay with the M line accesories for this cars; if not, the car looks great anyways. As for me, I love what it adds to the car lines, no second tougths about it; lots of compliments. As far as the roof spoiler? Not a fan, but to each its own.

I looked at the BMW carbon fiber spoiler... way to pricy. Anybody have experience with Turner Motorsports? Price/quality? Thanks....

I got this exact one as well. I'm a little reserved on how it'll look since I think it'll either look considerably cooler or unnecessarily worse than the "M5 style spoiler". It has an aggressive raise in the middle which will be a make or breaker for it.

For $75 it's a damn good deal. I hope I like that twisted-raised middle part as it is more unique than the M5 style (not to say you see M5 spoilers everywhere, so any spoiler on an F10 is pretty unique).

Are the aftermarket spoiler you guys buying from like $69-$150 the same as the OEM M5? I like the one in the photo of the blue M5 but can't tell if the aftermarket ones are different, looks like the scoop up a little bit and not and streamline and subtle as the M5 one.
