The difference is that the M3 and M5 Concepts were modifications to the regular "series" cars, and less extreme. When BMW introduces a completely "new" line, the Concept version always gets the crazy bumpers, wheels and different wing mirrors. Check out the 6er Concept and 6 Gran Coupe concept. Both of those (like this 4 series) are completely 'new' cars for BMW.

Good call. There is a lot of similarities between the F32 4 series concept coupe and the 6 series concept coupe.

Other than the sea of leather everywhere, the interior is exactly like the current F30.

And that Full Leather trim definitely needs to be offered as an option if this 4-Series wants to really provide a more exclusive "experience" than the 3-Series.

That's Alcantara/faux Suede/real Suede. The same as the headliner.

Giant step up from the e92. It's like they fixed everything that was so gawky and weird about the e92 design. Best looking new BMW design since...well hell at least a decade. Guess I'd have to go back to the e46 and Z8.

Overall I think it looks great. I suspect the interior will get toned down when it goes from concept to the actual car. I like that they made it pretty substantially different in terms of styling so we have more choices. I am looking forward to seeing the grancoupe 4 door if it really comes about
