any common issues with the 2002 325i

i am a newer E46 owner went from my 86 E30 325 to this and i know A LOT about the E30 but not much on the E46. It runs fine as of now and I replaced all fo the fluids with synthetic Top quality fluids replaced the Brake fluid with ATE Blue DOT4, Brake Pads, Tires, Belt, Spark plugs, and performance coils from BavAuto, a aFe Stage 2 intake the coolant.

if there are any issues that may arise please let me know i doubt it because BMWs are the best i just want to be prepared.

And any insight on how to get more HP without tearing into the engine the only other thing on my to do list is:

Performance Tuning ( suggestions more than welcome )
Exhaust system ( id like a german manufacturer, Suggestions? )

so from what im reading the Vanos is the Achilles heal of the E36 and E46 would anyone recommend a Vanos Elimination kit i found one from VAC. Keep in mind this car is my daily driver as well as a little bit of weekend racing and i am a spirited driver.

I think you`re confused....VANOS is an integral part of the engine....

Now, THAT`S a stupid-ass product for a street car if I ever saw one....it essentially gives you a situation similar to having bad VANOS seals, i.e., you have to lock the cams in the fully-advanced position to take advantage of it, thereby causing a "runs-like-sh!t" condition below 3500 RPMs or so. This is a product for engines that live *strictly* in the top half of the tach, not for street cars.

My dear old Grandma was a supremely wise (and strong) person, who had a lot of great sayings, among them: "Life is tough....especially if you`re STUPID !"
