Old thread, but still useful. 325i, GM, 103K now, works well, ATF changed at around 89K, 8072B oil used, next change soon with dexron VI.

2004 330 CIC Vert with 52,00 Miles. Bought CPO in June 2007 with 32K miles. About to become a daily driver.

Year 2001, not sure if it's been changed before just bought the car a week ago then few days later it went. Pan had a few big chunks in it.

My old 2001 330Ci Step had the TC slip issue at around 107k :/ hopefully my 03 fares better.

Did fluid change, 130000 miles, to solve slight variation in tach reading while cruising. Still running strong. Was obviously over due for new fluid.

Has not failed @ 143500 and after 2 auto tranny fluid changes shifts as smooth as butter. I also spend most of my time in M mode rowing through the gears.
