rain sensor question
Hey guys...I just ordered a used rain sensor replacement because mine was busted...it was coming apart inside and the auto lights stayed on all the time....so installed the replacement today and the headlights in auto position stayed off today in the sun..which is good....but when I went to test out the wipers by turning them on to the first click and sprayed the windshield with the hose nothing happened. The sensor infrared glass that is attached to the window is great, no bubbles, not separating. So the question is does this module have to be coded to the car even though it's just a replacement of the same kind?
