Anyone have Individual Paint or Trims?

Looking at some old PDFs about the X5 and came across this:



Anyone on here have these?

I tried to order Pearl Silver Metallic, they wouldn't let me, was told world wide demand is too high to bother allowing us to do it.

I don't think you can "Individual" the X5's at this time. However, there IS a limited production run of them being built. Unfortunately, they are a single color and the price is pretty darned close to the X5M so I don't think that they will sell a lot of them at that overly extended price point.

PS - Found the article on here but it is for a limited 100-run production of an X6 Individual here...

Interesting... I was at the dealer today and happened to ask the GM about this exact same subject. He is familiar with the individual options for the X5, including the individual audio system which I would mostly be interested in, and he made it sound as if ordering these options was not a big deal. He said he did it for a couple of his customers this year...

Audio is no big deal. However, custom paint or interior aren't viable. Get him to clarify that he has done more than simply the individual code for the upgraded stereo.

Any idea how much the Individual audio package is priced at, assuming it can be had at all?

Here's the Individual Catalogue for the X5 if anyone is interested. Does not have pricing, though...

It's around $2K more than the base system I believe and $600 more than the premium. Here is probably the BEST thread on the difference. Note that the individual sound upgrade does NOT include the Satelitte feature so you would need to add that as well to equate to the premium sound configuration. Post #27 is by an audio guy who does home theaters.
