Hanging Speaker - WHAT?

So, I have a 2012 Z4 3.5i. I recently took it in to the dealer to get a brake light bulb replaced (under warranty of course). While I was waiting, I bought a set of winter floor mats (yes, I'm driving it in the winter - and yes it's a lease).

When I got home, I swapped out the carpeted mats for the rubber ones and discovered what appears to be a tweeter hanging down by its wire under the driver side dash (see pics). I do NOT recall seeing that before this service appointment. And, I can't imagine why this speaker would need to be moved for a brake bulb replacement service!

It appears as though the speaker actually belongs behind the grille in the second pic and somehow it was either moved or it became loose and dislodged (??). Anyone have ANY idea how this could have happened and why would there be a tweeter at my feet?

And I have the Logic 7 sound system with the bunches of speakers. But it's just strange to find this where it is.

I would take it to the dealer and tell them where to put it. Well, not really. If it isn't obvious how to put it where it belongs I would take it in and ask them to reinstall it.

+1, looks like the cover/panel has been kicked and dropped and the speaker has come adrift, judging by the wiring it probably is a tight fit....
