Cruise control problem, comes on by itself! 2011 335i
2011 335i - I've had the car for a little over a year, and the cruise control has come on by itself about four times. Not safe!
No, I am not accidentally turning it on. Last time it happened I was just cruising at highway speed, and it came on out of the blue. It turns off when I tap my brake, thankfully. I've researched forums and no one else seems to have reported this problem. I will take it into the shop soon, but I'm sure they "won't find anything wrong". It's scary, and I'd kinda like to get out of my lease because of it. Any suggestions? I was thinking that I could install a dash camera and aim it at the instrument cluster so I have proof when it happens again.
