Car says I need oil change 800 miles after getting one?!!

This has happened twice already . I get an oil change and reset the oil service indicator and 1000 miles later I get an oil change service light .. Wtf ?

bring it back to whomever did the oil change and demand that they reset it properly. or google for the reset procedure and DIY.
its not an issue with the car, whoever reset it f'ed it up.

Apparently, you did not correctly reset the computer for both time and CBS. After a reset, your mileage countdown should start around 15.5k and the time should be 2 years.

See that's the thing... I just tried resetting it and it went away for 1 mile and it came back ... How the hell do I fix this?
