Mein Auto: 1999 BMW M3
New (to me) M3

Hey guys (and gals?), just picked up my '99 M3 this past weekend and wanted to show it off a bit since I haven't stopped smiling/staring! Picked it up with ~114,571 miles for $7500 which in my book is a damn good deal. I will try and snap some pics of the engine bay when I get a chance (too dark when I get home) because it looks flawless! I bought this mainly to eventually become a dedicated track car so I can relieve my GS-R (200k+ miles) from those duties.

Looks very clean, but I believe it has had some body work done (overspray visible in rear wheel well). Did you have it inspected before buying?

Yea, it was hit in the rear so the bumper and trunk were replaced but no chassis/suspension damage. Still drives great from what I can tell. You've got a good eye sir!

You can see the overspray in the rear wheel well of your last picture.
It happens when the body shop doesn't do a very through job of tapping.

Looks sharp though!

What thread? Nothing came through on my phone....

Not sure I have ever seen wheel wells on an E36 painted.
