Seat Surgery

I picked up 2 front and rear grey leather seats, and a crackless dashboard. of our local kijiji and paid 300 bucks.


before i bought them I noticed that the drivers seat was pretty "floppy" and would need repair.

I just finished replacing the bottom tray for the drivers seat as the PO of this seat killed it! the reclining mounts were sheered right off the tray.

anyway, i used the parts from my old cloth seats and its like new again.

check it.

Passanger side seat.

the drivers seat has a small rip in it.

however, when i put it on the new frame. I didn't secure the leather so i can have a new panel installed.

now the seats makes the rest of the car look like crap. So i am going to change my carpet to charcole. and have grey leather inserts made for the door cards. I think that will tie the colours together. because right now it is clashing pretty badly.

but, I finally have 2 front seats! hahah


edit: and I found an old mouse nest behind the old cloth rear seat...
