Z-4 windshield washer pump
How do you replace a windshield washer pump?

it should be fairly simple. Just remove the resevoir and pump then detact the wires. The pump should be mounted to the tank. disassemble and replace then reinstall in reverse order.

the pump for the windshield is the one on the rear, towards the firewall. push it towards the rear of the car a bit [like 1/2"] and then pull up and wiggle, and by wiggle, I mean you will dwarf your efforts to get away with forgetting your anniversary, it should move pretty much straight up, and hopefully the strainer will come with it. If you are replacing the pump, then best to replace he strainer also. If the strainer does not come out with the pump, then you will need to grab it with some needle-nose pliers. and get it out, as the strainer usually clogs pretty easy and you may find the pump is good, but the strainer is not.
