how long for ed/pc after the ship comes in?
I have been tracking the ship from bremerhaven that was transporting our ED 328i. It was delivered 11/20-about a week ago- but I haven't heard anything from the performance center yet. Any ideas on when I should clear my calendar for a trip to Spartansburg?

They wait until your car is cleared by customs and VDC to schedule your re-delivery date.

thanx..
with the holidays coming up we have a lot of commitments in the weeks ahead. I also think that the performance center closes up for the week between Christmas and New Years day. I was hoping to get some feedback from recent PC redelivery folks about how long it took for them to go from 'off the boat' to 'Pickup at PC'. If I had a ballpark idea of when It could be available I would keep it in mind when planning our calendar.

If it helps....I believe last year my 1er hit Brunswick on March 5th. The earliest available PCD date was March 29th.

Thanx.. it does help.
I was thinking that it would probably be about 3 or 4 weeks to get through customs, transport and prep, and that puts us just before the christmas/new years holiday.

I dropped my car in Munich on October 31st. PCD scheduled for January 7th. So that's 9 weeks. They told me 8-10, so there ya go. Damn, it's been a looong wait.
