E39 photos- starting new thread of our personal E39's. Here is my 2001 540i-6 DINAN

I thought it would be a good time to show off our cars again, an old thread thats outdated...needs to be started again! I'm personally so proud of the E39. My E39 is a car I adore and will never get rid of. Ive owned it for almost 8 years, and it's been great! I bought this one with 38,000 miles on it and just hit 100,000 last month. Not bad for a 6/2001 build.

Really nice car im jeealous of the headliner.. i wish i had it but theres ro many performance mods i need to just waste 800 on headliner. But sheesh ya would think all the money ya got into ya car you woulda gave itb a drop

Yours has come together nicely Lala, you almost made an M5

lala good job on the progression of mods on your car, its turned out to be a beauty. The M6 wheels are growing on me.

2003 Steptronic 530i with 115,000 miles. Staggered M-Par reps with Pirellis (245/40/18 front 265/35/18 rears). Eibach pro-kits on SACHS sport springs. M5 rear spoiler.

Beautiful car too! Since I am in Colorado and do drive it in snow..I didn't want to lower..to keep that much more ground clearance. It would look nice, but I am happy the way it is. You have done great mods to your car...put some interior pics as well.

2003 540i Msport, DINAN trans SW, M5 lip, 5W angel eyes, soon to be complete BSW stage 1, and soon to be sexy interior grey/black two tone if I can find a darn set of technical graphite trim!

120k on the clock and nearly 100% turn key.

I'm not going to lie, I don't know how well it drives...but as far as "just" looks and nothing else, that's a very good looking E39. I wasn't sure about the RIM's in some shots, but after seeing better shots, they actually go quite well. I still think nothing beats the Style 65's (Wish they came in 19'' or 20'' sizes of QUALITY), but the car looks good.

Nothing special, I'm a mere sole parent pensioner these days, but I'm just working away a little bit at a time.
My E39, 1997 535i just about to hit 260000km (161500Mi) with few issues.
Since I got it I've had to replace a water pump and put a rear window repair kit in it (drivers side stopped going up and passenger side was done as preventative) and I've replaced damaged front and rear bumpers, clouded headlights with broken adjusters and the tail lights, which were pretty much thrown in when I bought the set of two bumpers. The side indicators are in transit, I should have them soon Wheel centre cap stickers will be next on my list of things to buy.
I'll be replacing the entire front and rear suspension (mostly preventative though the driver's (right) rear spring is sagging just over a half inch) in the next week as well with the help of my two oldest sons. I'll be replacing the front control arms, rack ends and link pins in my oldest son's E36 328i while I'm at it.
I'm loving this car, I've put 30000km (18600Mi) on it since I picked it up in March and it makes the frequent long trips I take a pleasure.

BB9000, hey very nice! Couple questions. What are those smoked tail lights are those an OEM BMW part or aftermarket brand? Second, did you aquire an entire M5 interior and swap your stock interior out? You said individual interior so I'm curious if you had an individual interior once and then swapped it out for an M5 interior you got somewhere?
