X3 2.8i Lease

I am thinking about pulling the trigger on a lease for a 2013 X3 2.8i with PCD. Can anyone advise on how good a deal this is? I want to make sure it is fair for both me and the CA.

• X3 2.8i: Space Gray, Sand Beige, Fineline Sienna Wood, Cold Weather, Convenience Package, Premium Package, Sport Activity Package, Technology Package, Premium Sound
• 36 month, 12K/year lease in VA
• 7 multiple security deposits (or the max possible)
• Owner loyalty, BMW App, Holiday Cash, and USAA discounts
• $0 down, $3850 due at signing to include the MSD
• MSRP on my end looks to be $50,695
• Selling price after discounts is $47,150
• 7 MSD, for a money factor of .00076, residual of 58%

Total monthly payment of $552. I am waiting to hear back from another dealer which might be slightly better. What do you guys think?

A few questions that will help the community provide feedback.

What is your sales price before incentives?
Did you confirm what is the invoice price on BMWCONFIG.COM?
Aquisition fee should be $725 whihc I did not see you mention.
How much of incentives is being applied?
How much money are you putting down not including MSDs?

Which dealership are you working with? My CA at BMW of Sterling should be able to help you out. As for trade. That is low. BMW of Sterling has a Carmax next door. They were able to give me 4k more than the dealership.

Any help on the trade would be great. Both BMW of Alexandria and Passport were quoting $16K (maybe bcs it is an '07 with 69K miles?). The latest quote was from Passport which seems a bit better than Alexandria (about $10/month)

This seems to be a good deal. As far as trades, you will never get top dollar from the dealer. Swing by Carmax and see what they offer you for the car. It might make sense to separate the transactions.

Remember to keep in mind any tax gains you get by trading in the car.

As an example, nn most states, if you are trading a car worth $20,000 - then you do not have to pay taxes on the first 20,000 of the new purchase, just something to keep in the back of your mind.

Virginia does not get that sort of tax credit sadly. Call Bmw of Sterling and ask for Jordan. He is awesome and dhould be able to help you. My experience with Passport is they markup rates/fees. Getting a price from Alexandria was like pulling teeth so I passed. Bmw of silver spring was also okay to work with.

So, it ended up being slightly better:

MSRP $50,695
Selling Price $46,825 ($49,047 after Tax, Tags, processing and lease origination fees).
$5400 out of pocket - includes: ($3500 MSD, $500 first month's payment, $1400 sales tax)

Monthly payments are $499. The finance dept did make some sort of a mistake and was trying to charge about $400 more upfront than made sense, thanks to working all of the numbers backwards and forwards I stood my ground for about 30 minutes until they realized their error.
