what is potentially wrong with this car?

http://kansascity.craigslist.org/cto/3469939216.html

While I'm waiting on a response from the owner, any opinions? That car is stupid cheap, but if it runs and drives and doesn't look like the biggest pos e34 I've ever seen, surely there is something majorly wrong with it. I'm intrigued.

You'll have to wait and see what the seller says. It could need fluids and gaskets or a whole motor. we can't tell by those pictures

Nope, by the time he emailed me it was gone. Surprised that went as fast as it did. Probably for the best.

" It is far better to buy a good E34 at a fair price than a bad E34 at a good price. Coincidentally, this principle also applies to billion-dollar companies. "

Fast? - well it is a 525

Cheap - Yep. Got that right

I guess he could maybe have made it a project car if he had deep pockets.
