Engine code
Alright. I was driving in the highway coming down a hill with cruise control on. The cel comes on for no more than 5 secs and goes off. I get home and do the stomp test and it comes up with code 1286. Why would this come on going downhill compared to stress on the engine going uphill?

Then it's likely your belt tensioner pulley.

Because your ECU board solder traces have cracks. Reflow the solder joints in the ECU and see if that doesn't fix it.
