HorsePOWER!
Hey all,
So the newest developments are the parts are ordered. Decided to upgrade to the M3 front end. while checking on painting costs, ive heard like three different paint colors for my car. does anyone know the factory name for my paint? Additionally, I was able to sevure the parts for less than I anticipated leaving me about $600 to spare. So Im looking for BANG for the BUCK! So the Question is this: For $600, what are the best upgrades to do first, my powertrain is currently stock... Thanks |

Sadly, $600 won't get you much in the way of power gains. I mean, a $600 exhaust will maybe get you 10-15hp, which you pretty much won't even be able to feel. You could also buy an engine tune for $300-350, which will help some, but really, it won't be a night/day difference by any stretch of the imagination.
If I had $600 to spend on your car, I'd probably invest in upgrading the shocks & springs before I started down the path of trying to get more power. BMWs are very expensive to get more power out of compared to other marques.

Your paint name should be on your driver side front shock tower.

If you want power, you have a few viable options...
LSx swap Turbo Cummins swap All will yield more gains than any NA build you can do. All cost lots O doll-hairs. All are super badass
