Help on this problem with my e36 1st time posting lol
So I changed both the fuel pump and fuel level sender. Now I'm getting this annoying whine noise from outside mostly by the right rear . Only when car is turned on and idling. I'm thinking it's the fuel pump but I was sold a tested and working one. Later tonite I'm planning on removing the rear Seat and fuel pump cover and just listen closesly do determine if that's it. . Could it be going bad? Any other suggestions? Thanks

It shouldn't be making that much noise, so yes. You shouldn't be able to hear it if the engine is running.
