E34 driver side speaker issue

Ok here is my issue, I have a 91 535i with stock sterio, I'm getting some sound out if my driers side front speaker when faded to the front and balanced to the left however the volume has to be ate almost to max. I replaced the amp with another factory amp with no change. Also tryed disconnecting each of the 3 speakers in the off chance it was a speaker issue without change. All other speakers work just fine. Originally this problem started as the drivers side cutting in and out with bad crackling, that's why I got the new amp but the problem continued untill the cutting in and out stoped and I was left with very low output. Any help would be great! Thanks

this^

If it didn't change when you swapped out amps. Then it's a short or exposed wire in the stereo wiring harness. There's a PDF somewhere on it by ADS.

But here's the wiring legend:

Found the link:

A loose connection touching something else will make that sound

Cleaned up the legend a bit.Actually found the pdf.

I had reviewed what I put up first and almost went blind.
