Solid in the wind...

I'm seeing many threads about the handling in snow which is great for people who have a winter. In Dallas, we have thunderstorms(of biblical proportions) and wind. Last night, in the middle of a rather large storm with winds gusting up to 50 mph, we had to take my child to the ER(everything was fine). On the ride home, I noticed trees broken in half and stop signs being blown to geometrical angles while the car was a tank! I stayed in my lane and didn't ever even feel the slightest movement despite the strong gusts- even with my roof rack. It validated why I bought this vehicle- fun and safe.

PS- I am a 33 year old guy who is the primary driver. I replaced a 2012 Lexus IS and take corners faster in this than I ever did in that. Loving my X3 with no regrets.
