F30/F31/F32/F33 possible to code FTM instead of TPMS

would this be possible for a US spec car that has tpms (sensor based), to enable FTM (abs sensor based monitoring)
rest of world inc canada use FTM for the F30.

car is coming tomorrow, so i shall dig, but was wondering if anyone tried this vs disabling tpms.

I don't see how. Unlike TPMS, FTMS has no actual pressure and temperature sensor, and it uses only tire rotational speed to determine if a tire has lost air pressure. If you have TPMS, I do not think that you will be able to disable it and enable FTM in its place.

Why would you want to do this? Most everyone else with FTMS longs for TPMS.

winter tires-- i currently have the wheels off of my e90 with incompatible sensors. if its not possible i guess ill just bite the bullet and get new sensors and have the wheels broken down and installed.
