E39 (1997 - 2003)
The BMW 5-Series (E39 chassis) was introduced in the United States as a 1997 model year car and lasted until the 2004 when the E60 chassis was released. The United States saw several variations including the 525i, 528i, 530i and 540i. -- View the E39 Wiki

I'm relatively new to this site but I cannot find DIY instructions for Water Pump replacement for a 2001 525.

Please Help

Consider buying a copy of the E39 Bentley service manual. esp if you plan to do any more wrenching on this car. It'll pay for itself on the first job.

Actually, the LOCATION of Fudman's sticky changes depending on who last posted to which sticky - but since there are only three stickies - it shouldn't be too hard for the OP to find it.

It's also in my sig below.
